International Plasma Awareness Week is a global opportunity to raise awareness, recognize plasma donors, and highlight the experiences of patients and families who rely on plasma-derived medicines.
Taking place October 5–9, 2026, IPAW brings together people and organizations across the plasma community to help share the story of plasma and its impact around the world.

Share IPAW Resources
PPTA has developed resources to make it easy to participate in the campaign.
Organizations and individuals can use the available materials to:
- Share social media messages and graphics.
- Include IPAW content in newsletters.

- Share educational resources.
- Recognize and thank plasma donors.
- Encourage conversations about plasma-derived medicines.

Share a Story
One of the most powerful ways to raise awareness is by sharing a personal experience.
Patients, caregivers, families, healthcare professionals, donors, and others connected to the plasma community are invited to share their stories.
Your story could highlight:
- How plasma-derived medicines have affected your life or the life of someone you care for.
- What plasma donation means to you.
- Your experience supporting a loved one who relies on plasma-derived medicines.
- Why you believe greater awareness of plasma matters.
- A personal experience that demonstrates what “Plasma Powers Possibility" means to you.

You can also help by encouraging your networks to get involved.
