Last year brought wins, progress, and challenges for PPTA and the plasma industry. As detailed in the 2023 Annual Report – now available for reading – the past year showcased the plasma industry’s impact, adaptability, opportunities, innovation, and ongoing partnership.
In 2023, PPTA was able to contribute to policies that maintain and promote a high level of donor health and support patient access to lifesaving plasma-derived therapies. At the heart of PPTA’s vitally important mission is serving patients with rare diseases through global advocacy that aims to both improve the availability of plasma, and advance understanding around the importance of plasma donation.
